Default Bristol 403 Exhaust and Front and Rear Dampers.

Hi Everyone
Just thought I would try on here to see if anyone has parts for the Bristol 403, Im wanting a complete exhaust system and a full set of dampers. So if you have these parts for sale I would be interested. An alternative is advice on were to buy these items (I am a member of the Bristol Club and have made a request).

My other issue is a crack in the engine block not sure how bad, so looking for recommendations to cure a slight leak so maybe a product you have uesd or if its major leak recommendations on companies who does metal-stiching

Regards
Colin

BODA have some very good stainless steel systems. I fitted one to my 406 and am very pleased with it. Good quality and a very fair price.

I would suggest getting the block stitched. The important thing is to get it crack tested and drill out the ends of the cracks to prevent them getting any longer.

Hi
Thanks for the replies using private emails and on the forum regarding my initial posting. I have now bought the exhaust through the Bristol Owners Club.

Had good advice regarding shock absorbers , and products to use if its a weeping leak.
No recommendations on metal- stitching as yet

Colin

Can't help regards metal stitching but I can recommend

www.castironwelding.co.uk

I have no business connection to them but have just had a Mazda rotory centre plate welded there and it machined beautifully, cast will go rock hard if welded incorrectly but this machined as easily as the original material around it,

They are now welding a Bristol V8 inlet manifold for me that is cracked, so if you are totally stuck it would be worth getting in touch with them.
