Default V8 diff cover

Evening. Does anyone have a v8 diff cover down the back of the chaise lounge?
Ideally from a 411 but probably anything 408 on will probably do. Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

Try Graeme Payne at CBCPC, tel number is 07597 576747 or graeme.payne@cbcpc.co.uk. Its a Salisbury axle so covers from other cars may fit as well.

Dave,
You are probably aware that these differentials were used on many cars. The challenge will be to find one with the same fittings on the rear cover that Bristol use. The Aston DB5 and 6 are very similar but I don't know whether they are exactly the same

I have some photos of my 411 diff somewhere, but I can't find them at the moment.

In addition to the Salisbury name which is commonly used in the UK, they were also called a Dana Spicer diff/axle in other parts of the world - I believe the type 60 & 61 diffs have the same 10 bolt pattern as the one used on the V8 Bristols.
