Default Steering wheel centre

Hi,

Does anyone have a steering wheel centre please? It is specifically for my 406, but I'm pretty sure they are the same across a lot of models, certainly shared with the earlier cars. Any condition. Pic attached to know what I'm talking about.

Thanks all.

Sorry, I can't help but I am curious about your instruments. They are in different positions than on my 408. Was that a change made when they went to V8s?

Default Steering wheel centres

My 407 has a black horn button not silver/ chrome, I always thought that was how they were originally ,but perhaps mine has been altered at some time. I also wondered if it should have had a chrome bezel around the button.
Any thoughts please.

From photos it appears that the 404 and 405 had the chrome centre. On the 407 it was black. In a poor photo of a 406 it appears to be black, except the Zagatos in which case it was cream/pale yellow centre with a black Z in the centre.

Amazon69, what car is in the photo in your first post?

Amazon69,
I have a horn button assembly from possibly a 401, 403 or 405 , it is in excellent unmarked condition.
It should fit the 406 but I'm unsure whether the chrome centre is original for a 406.
If you are interested send me a private message and we can discuss price and postage .

Geoff
