Default Wanted for my 403 restoration (1402 - reg NXT 655)

Although I won't need these for some time, the following are missing from my otherwise fairly complete 403 and so far I have been unable to source:-

-both front roller blind mechanisms
-rear blind mechanism
-rear window aluminium finishing strip
-rear window wood fillet

Any help very much appreeciated

Best regards

I used very thin ply wood, cut it into strips, glued, wrapped and clamped it around the finishing strip until it filled the void. Rather fiddly for an amateur cutting it free style in the back garden but should be fairly easy for someone better prepared.

I have the remains (90%!) of the sheet in London if you need it/ some.

That looks a good solution to the wood fillet problem. Regarding the aluminium finisher strip which is also missing, can you confirm this is the same profile as the finisher round the driver and passenger doors?

Thanks for the offer of the ply, but I'm in NE Scotland so will source locally.

Default Rear window finisher

HI Mike

If you haven't managed to find one yet , I think I may have one in the depths of my loft. I may not be able to look till after Christmas but let me know if it's still a requirement

Best

Mike
