Preserving an historic registration number?

Well you know the problems with registering a car in Italy. Good luck!
What if you applied for a UK driver's license and ran it as a UK car?
None of my cars and motorcycles in Italy, are registered...

When you switched on the heater, you added another radiator! It can be
deducted that you main radiator is not providing enough cooling and I would

411 (Series 3-5) Exhaust Tailpipes

The issue of fumes varies from car to car. It depends largely on the roof
line and design of the trunk (boot) and the angle of the exhaust pipe.
But why would Hillman go to the expense of fitting...

Having had a Mk VI and an S1, I found I was happier with the Mk VI. The
gearbox is a delight and the car has a certain "feel" to it that others
are missing. The vintage look has its own appeal. I...

411/412/603 wheel nut torque?

I am constantly surprised by this odd question. A wheel should be
tightened by hand, using the hand tools provided and removed the same way.
Assuming average strenght this equates to some 70 / 80...

412 Rear axel bearings.

Typically you pull the 1/2 shaft and then the bearing. Go to a bearing
supplier with the old one. They will match the numbers and give you a new
one. Do both sides as bearings are very cheap....

Rust!

Kevin,
Have you seen this rust problem for yourself, or are you going on what you
were told? Shops do make mistakes and perhaps a skim of light surface rust
was interpreted as a major issue.
Good...
