At the rear of the bonnet, but attached to the front of the scuttle panel there is a steel mesh vent and surround, ours doesn’t have anything behind it like sponge...

I can buy solid urothane bar from Chris at superflex and machine it to suit but that's the hard way round the problem,
I'm really hoping to find off the shelf bushes rather than machining my own,

Hi all,
So yet more questions I’m afraid,
The front lower arms on a 407 (and possibly other Bristol’s) the inner bushes, where the lower arm slides onto the mounting peg that’s part of the front...
