I can buy solid urothane bar from Chris at superflex and machine it to suit but that's the hard way round the problem,

I'm really hoping to find off the shelf bushes rather than machining my own,

Yes another 407 question, sorry,

At the rear of the bonnet, but attached to the front of the scuttle panel there is a steel mesh vent and surround, ours doesn’t have anything behind it like sponge to stop larger partials / insects going through it,

My question is would there have been a sponge or similar behind the mesh originally?

Many thanks

Steve

Hi all

Yet another question,,

The battery clamp on our customers 407 is a piece of angle iron, that has then had the center hacked out of it,

I realise a lot of battery clamps are in the style of angle iron but wondered if Bristol did use angle or should it be something a little more refined?

I'm assuming 407 and 408 will be the same and possibly even 406? If anyone has a picture or information that would be terrific,

Many thanks

Steve
