Default Bitter SC

Hello,

and sorry for the OT, but I seem to remember that there is someone, amongst the fellow Bristol members, who has an interest in cars manufactured by mr Erich Bitter. I am looking for this info because I recently met an American gentleman (actually a famous doctor) who casually mentioned that he has his own Bitter parked in his garden since years and would like to get rid of it. I think it's a 1983 Coupé.

I promised him that I would help him sell the car to a sympathetic buyer, but I would like to offer it first to a BOC members and if someone is interested I shall put him in contact with the american doctor.

Have a nice week-end,

Stefano

Default Bitter.

Hi Stefano,
I would be interested if the car is in Europe / Italy. As usual....price and condition are of interest.
Let me know.
Regards,
Dorien

It is indeed I who used to have an SC, and at least one other SC owner I know has been in the Bristol Owners Club too, although didn't have a car himself.

They are great cars, sadly very underrated and unknown. I'd have another happily, but I'm afraid I'm not in the market for one right now. Get a 3.9 manual if you can - much the fastest.

Hello,

I just received some pictures of the Bitter and I have published them on my site:

Bitter SC

I hope that this might be of some interest to someone and that this car will be bought by someone who appreciate it.

Cheers

Stefano

Hi stefano, do you mind if I post your webpage on the Bitter forums? Might find someone keen on there.

What great looking cars - perhaps not classically beautiful, but very nice nonetheless!
Another one on my 'must own one day' list!

Reading through some of the old posts, I came across this item about Bitter SC’s.
I am also a Bristol owner with a long standing Interest in the Bitter SC. I have attached a photo of my Bitters for those who have an interest. The Cabriolet in the centre is currently in the early stages of being restored and converted to RHD and the silver coupe on the right of the photo is one of the very few original RHD cars manufactured, in fact this car started its first five years of life in the Patrick Collection.
