From Chain Gang To Turbocharger
Just spotted a copy of Chain Gang to Turbocharger , The AFN Storey on eBay (uk site) for a very reasonable £10. An interesting addition to a Bristol library as it approaches the Bristol/Frazer Nash tie up from a different perspective and of course has a lot of information on their Bristol engine cars.

There's another thread about this book, that I started back in 2009 http://www.bristolcars.info/forums/b...bocharger.html
That was also prompted by a copy for sale on eBay! |

There is a cracking good website abebooks.co.uk where secondhand booksellers from around the world list their wares. It's very easy to search by title, author etc. But you have to pay attention to where they are situated as postage, particularly from America, can prove prohibitive. You will be stunned at just how many copies of "From Chaingang to Tubocharger" are out there.
It works well, in a similar manner to eBay feedback is key to driving performance. |

AFN Isleworth
Quote:
It then became the London site of Porsche before going downmarket as the Marlborough car dealership that sold Chrysler and Skoda. It is now bedecked with large cranes turning it into a fast series of blocks of 'executive' flats! George |
