410 Windscreen Wipers

Can anybody please tell me how I can reposition a windscreen wiper arm? The right-hand wiper when stowed, is resting with the end of the blade across the bottom corner of the chrome windscreen rubber shroud. I need to release the arm from the spindle and reposition it so that the blade contacts the glass fully.
