![]() I believe the first three digits,...411 are the model, the rest seem to be in line with other 411 chassis numbers at the BOC site.

![]() Hi,
I do not think that your chassis number is correct. The engine number fits as E383358 was fitted to a 411 series 2 in 1972 engine numbers do not go in sequence but that engine went into chassis number 411 S2 7605101 your chassis number appears to have one number missing, it should read as above. It could however be right and unlisted as the chassis number before the one listed has only 6 numerals ie 411s2 760395 I hope this is helpful. nick 407 6028 |

![]() Thanks for your quick answers.
I compared the dates below with the " vehicle registration document" from great britain once again. So this dates are right!!! ![]() Could a british document be incorrect? So the car is located in germany now. So i hope, it will be a series 2 which suits better to me than a series 3 (but that's a matter of taste) Will take pics next week. Günter |

The question of market value is difficult to answer without a thorough inspection of the car. As a guide, a perfect example that needs no work is probably worth about £25,000. These cars are relatively simple and easy to work on so restoration costs would be no more than most other contemporary classic cars. I believe all vital parts are still available, but not the bumper bars! Kevin |

![]() Hello,
as i announced, i took photos of the Car. Its a serie 2. Firstly i checked the numbers of the badge in the engine bay: Typ 411 chassis-no. 760498 engine-no. E783-359 Car is a little bit rusty, but he still runs! Here the pics. Needs a careful consideration to buy or not. Günter |

looks ok to me. most 411 people reckon the S2 is the one to have. Nice to find yet another "unknown" Bristol via this forum. The chassis number fits the sequence between 7603.95 and 7605.101 Only the first 4 numbers are in direct sequence, the last 3 go up in 3s, as I expect most of you know. The reason for this little "trick" I leave up to people's imagination. By the way the engine number will be E 383-359, not E 783-359, as 383 is the engine size in cubic inches. Probably the best Chrysler engine fitted to any Bristol - how's that for controversy! best of luck with it. I do know some people in Germany who might be able to help you with it. Andrew Blow.
