Thanks to everyone.

Stefano is correct, I found the engine number behind the dipstick and it matches the number on the Bristol ID plate - in this case, the number is B-318-06-27S. There my still be a Chrysler factory casting number and build date on the side of the block above the freeze plugs but I do not know for sure.

Stefano, have you seen the casting number and date on the side of your engine?
