Default 411 s3 parking brake callipers

Hi Forum,

I am renovating the rear brake callipers and came across an issue. The little auto adjust nut on the parking brake has been replaced by a fixed bolt. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement. It’s the nut with the clicks that turns against the spring to tighten the cable… it’s item 25 in the picture.

Thank you

Try Martin Robey or Jensen Service Ltd. After that vintage Aston Martin specialists.

Ed,
Here's a full parts list for the Girling 12/13 HP brake caliper and handbrake assembly:
https://www.bristolcars.info/forums/...&catid=7&id=58

It's called the Adjuster Nut, part # 64326238 and appears to be common with all handbrakes across numerous contemporary car marques, which might make it easier to find.

I had the same problem. Got mine from CBCPC.

Thanks guys, adjuster nut sorted. I’m just missing the little clutch ring and the dust cover - anyone come across these on their travels?

Hi Ed,
Pray tell where you obtained the adjuster nut

It may help others in the future.

Default Adjuster Nut

Hi,

Graeme Payne

Classic Bristol Car Parts Company Limited

He’s a great help and was able provide other difficult to find parts like the accelerator mechanism bushings.

I should have known to go to Graeme first!

Thanks for your help

Ed
