Suggested rolling road day

I am about to have my 410 set up at Surrey Rolling Road and notice that they have Power Run days on Saturdays at £60 per car for about 40 minutes to check horsepower and torque at rear wheels and flywheel as well as mixture throughout the range. No adjustments made, just test runs to give figures.

They are happy to block book for car clubs so I wonder if anyone else would be interested. It is well known that different rolling roads give wildly different figures so it would be a wonderful thing to get a number of 2 litre and V8 cars tested on the same dyno so that meaningful relative values can be obtained.

Despite being called Surrey Rolling Road it is based in Farnborough, Hants.

Dependent upon level of interest I suggest a meeting at a suitable venue within easy reach to make the journey a little more worthwhile.

Please let me know if you are interested. They are currently booking November and December but it may be worth waiting for Spring 2026 to get a better turnout.
