Default Convertible 603

I recall a few years back that Brabazon Motors were converting a 603 to a droptop. They seem to have gone out business since then and I wondered what happened to the 603? In photos it appeared to be converted minus paint and interior.

This car is now for sale, as a restoration project, on the Bristol Cars website.

Hopefully the car will be on the road later this year. Sourcing the parts has been made much easier with CBCPC Ltd having much of what is needed.

What engine will be put in this car? a 360? or a modern Mopar unit?

Default 603 Convertible

A more modern Mopar unit with fuel injection. As with all projects, time slips result of complications and so the car might be ready for 2025.
As an example, the doors had been modified to take a Rover 75 door handle, but the electric windows fouled the mechanisms and so the door skin has had to be reconverted to original Bristol specification. Then the original bespoke windscreen that had been made was no longer with the car and a fresh one ordered. The fuel filler cap is now on version 3 and much of the other panel work is one its second iteration.
