![]() Forgive me if I am telling you how to suck eggs:
Whatever course you take, the old manifold has to come off. Is it beyond repair? Cast iron is weldable, but it's an art not everyone can undertake. I usually go onto the EBay.com (USA) to identify other vehicles (Dodge/Mopar/Plymouth/Chrysler) which utilise the same part, as there are usually lots of photos to aid identification. The downside of ordering from the US can be expensive postage and 2-3 weeks delivery. Repair might be the quickest and cheapest option and avoids modifications to the exhaust. |

![]() Thanks for your reply. I'm afraid the broken unit is beyond repair. It's already had one repair on it (before my time) and it's had it.
With the best will in the world things can look right on the internet but despite measurements and scrutinising of pictures I've had some bad experiences in this department. I'm just trying to narrow down my options. |

![]() The casting number which is clearly visible in your photo should (sorry don't know the size of engine in a 407) aid you in your search. Other source - you might try Dave Billadeau 07791 141 170 (m) , he rebuilds Chryslers and is very helpful.
