Default Sources of Resources for the 400

Clifford

Welcome aboard, they are fantastic and deserve proper restoration. I
run www.jel450.com and have not long completed a three year total
rebuild of 447 and now a 1700 mile tour of France to test it. I've
still got detail work to do, but the car was most impressive, cruising
all day at 70-80, very good cornering and handling, more than
acceptable ride and acceptable quiet up to 75. The opening rear window
and the side vents mean that you can keep comfortable in 30 degrees too.

After an almost mechanically perfect MKVI Bentley (very very different
from the norm) I was apprehensive, so my son Rich came along in mine
so I had an escape route if the wife turned ugly. She didn't, she
really enjoyed it, only really complaining if we drifted over 80 mph
on country roads.

You may also have bought it at the right time because the prices seem
to be rising fast if recent sales over here are a guide.
