I think the clock is from a 400.

Seems a realistic starting price.

khs ,
Looking at the photos of the Bristol instruments on Ebay I noticed the following

Petrol gauge UP107 , Amps 20-0-20 & Clock UC204 are all ex a Bristol 400

Oil pressure UP217 is ex a 401 or 403
Speedo US527 is probably ex a 401
Tacho UR502 is ex a 403 (0-5500)

Note 402 have white/cream faced instruments like the early 401

What Bristol have you been restoring ????

Geoff

Thumbs up

All these informations I didnīt know. Great! For me all these instruments are looking the same.

I owned 2 Bristol 401. 1 sold to Austria. Remains 1: in old white. Great car! Drives excellent. Have restored none, only some repair. Have driven some classic car rallys (regularity + searching the way by map) - and won 1 (all competitors have driven cars less old...).

I have given the information about ebay-offer, because you can only see ebay.co.uk, not ebay.de I think.

Perhaps someone is interested in spare parts - or for placing on the desk, sideboard, showcase. These instruments are like sculptures for me! I would show them in my home - but there are already a lot of "technical skulptures"... like an ignition coil from the 20th you can see inside the winding core and the isolation oil... and some more. No place remaining...
