Gents,
I have recently replaced the 40 year old front Spax shockers of my 400/452 (with 403 front suspension) with Koni .
The Australian Koni agent told me that all current Koni are adjustable only on the rebound . The Bump/compression is not externally adjustable.

I bought and fitted a pair of Koni of the correct lengths fully compressed and fully extended but found they were too firm on secondary roads, even with the rebound on the softest setting .
I then sent them to a Koni recommended repairer and they revalved or adjusted the bump/compression internally to be softer. At this stage on a short local test drive the car rides a lot smoother that before, with either the Spax or Koni before revalving.

After a more intensive road test, I will post more details.

But certainly Koni are only adjustable on Rebound.

Geoff
