![]() An excellent way which does not involve welding or riveting is to bond/glue them.
One such is the Redux bond system which has been used in aircraft manufacture since 1940. There are several other very successful bonding agents available many of them to do with the car industry. |

I welded them in place. I know modern adhesives are said to be brilliant but I'm to old to be sure. There was so much work required on my car, I decided to buy a cheap TIG welder and taught myself to use it. Best Mike |
