Thank you very much Gentlemen, for your informative replies giving me exactly the detail that I needed.

The subject has arisen due a 'dispute' over the positioning of this drum fixing hole on new 'Alfin Drums', ordered from the sole provider here in the UK.

I am not prepared to disclose further on the 'Forum' due the self restraints required of users vis a vis the 'Moderators' with which I completely understand and sympathise.

However if anyone is contemplating new 'Alfins', they might like to contact me 'off - forum' on [email]marcus_126@yahoo.co.uk BEFORE they order new drums where they will learn much, from my experience.
