although I have never measured it , I believe 112mm is correct .
In the BOC Bulletin 41 (Summer 1976) there is mention of 112mm.
It is certainly the same as M Benz of about 10 years ago as a few owners
have sucessfully fitted MB wheels to 401, 403, 405 & 407 here in Australia.
The offset and width is different between the various MB Models .
I assume the 112mm is a carry over from the BMW 326 of 1936, probably a
common German PCD.
