I'm struggling to find a reasonable priced pre-engage starter motor lucas 000293 (LRS293) I thought it would be relative easy to find the Morris Marina starter motor. I found a compatible one at £300. Most threads Iread indicated that £100 would buy one, I even joined the Marina forum but the chap on there only wants them going on Marina cars, plus you need to send him an old one which I don't have.
So does anyone know of suppliers who may have one or has anyone got a surplus one from previously owning a Bristol 403.
