David,
I do not see a pressure regulator on your Mallory which appears to be upside down. The Facet regulator is not their own I think it is a Purolator and could be fitted to increase / decrease...

Mechanical vs electric fuel pump

I fitted a red top Facet to my 407 20 years ago, it failed this year after 56,000 miles. I fitted a one immediately.
The Facet came with a pressure regulator which I soon found the most suitable...

403 up for virtual auction with engine, 405 without.

Anglia Car Auctions have a "bard find" 403 for sale at their virtual auction tomorrow (6th November) guide £5,000 to £10,000, also a 405 same condition with no engine and no reserve.

Cooling hoses for 410 etc

I obtained a full set of hoses for my 407 from Bristol Cars. Have you tried Graeme Payne the manager for Bristol Car spares a dicVision of BOC.
Just a thought as the pure measurements will not give...

Disc brakes and callipers for a 405/6.

I think these are the same as my 407 looking at the part numbers. They also fit an XK 120 and many early Jaguars.

My 407 has a Trico bottle and top. My top was very rusty and I managed to procure another.
I do though have in stock a brand new old stock bottle if that fits your needs.

Chassis number 7331 engine number is or was 161.111.547 and is a 1966 and 7353 was the last fitted with that series 1641.111.817c
