Default Windscreen rubbers

My 603 needs the window glass out for the repaint. At the moment there is no new rubber available from the factory so I'll need to find an alternative or really upset the bodyshop who don't want it hanging around indefinitely. Does anyone have a piece of old or used original windscreen rubber to get the critical dimensions? I may have to settle for a plain black rubber for the time being until the right section to carry the chrome trim can be found. Has anyone been here before?

Ralph Moore Autoglass in Sydney Australia have a range of windscreen rubber. 0011-61-2-96671933. autoglass@bigpond.com. It might be worth speaking to them if you don't have any luck locally.
