Default 410 Fog Lights

Good morning,

I discovered the Fog light switch on my aircraft like dashboard and after checking the instruction manual, it appears that the 410 is pre-wired for a set of fog lights. I also found a picture of the Tony Crook demonstrator which was so fitted and have therefore decided to go ahead and put the finishing touch on mine. In that light (no pun intended) would someone know which brand and model would have been fitted (Lucas LR8 for example?) as well as where they are fixed to the vehicle (bracket on front bumper assembly?). Any tips on where to find the needed wires in the loom?

Thank you in advance for any (just one would be good!) replies and a good sunny weekend to all.

Pascal

Ah.... but you won't like mine!

I have seen fog lights on the 408-410 Bristols, but I have never seen them look good. Too busy, and they restrict air flow to the radiator, or look bad under the bumper. However, what about a pair of the many available mini-LED fog lights that could be hidden within the grille and still give you the function you want? Then you could use that switch (face it, really all you want to do is use the switch now you have found it!).

Smile Fog Light

Hi Bryn,

You are right, I do not like it! The ones if I have seen are mounted below the bumpers so would not impact airflow. See attached picture from the John Bolster driving test of the 410.

But then, we don't really love Bristols because they are beautiful per se!

But I do. I think my 408 gets lovelier every day. I wouldn't own a car with styling that I disliked, or even had reservations about.
