Bristol Gearbox Wanted

Hi there,

I am currently getting a 403 up and running.

Unfortunately the internals of the gearbox have rusted out.

I am looking for a gearbox to get the thing moving.

I have a gearbox from a 401 that may be of use.

The recent sale of Brian May's spares suggests 403 gearboxes command a significantly higher price than 400 / 401 but I'm not convinced there would be a lot of difference between them for your purposes.

Don't be in too much of a hurry to write off your gearbox. It may be a lot better than you think!
