Bristol 400
 

I'm looking for a really nice Bristol 400. I wondered if anyone can help. I've looked in the usual places ie car and classic and others but there doesn't ever seem to be many or if they are not good ones for sale.Wondered if anyone could point me in possibly the right direction?

There are always 400's available for sale .
Depending on condition
well restored examples seem to fetch GBP60k - 90k
good going cars GBP40 -50 k
unrestored/partially restored GBP20 - 30k
rusty hulks GBP10 - 15k
Be careful as restoration cost will easily be more than GBP60k
if you want it restored correctly.

Where are you located ? Are you willing to travel to buy the right car ?
I know of a few for sale or coming up for sale .

There were 421 standard Filton BAC bodied 400s produced , about 80 - 100 would have rusted away or been smashed and parted out .
95 sold new in Australia and about 40 others were exported.
The Aussie cars probably survived better than most .
