Source for leather steering wheel glove for 408?

Can anybody please suggest a source for this? I'd like a black leather lace up glove for the rim of my 408's steering wheel but all I have been able to find are for smaller diameters and fatter rims.

My steering wheel rim has the usual cracks in it. I know there are vendors who offer to restore them but I have read of patchy results. So for now, I plan to cover it.

Thanks.

I know exactly what you're after - there was a company over here called krclassics that did them - but they seem to have disappeared.

A quick google search turned up this lot
https://www.custom-steering-wheels.com/
https://craftcustoms.com/

Who look like they might be able to run something up for you. I took a chance on an ebay product direct from China which when it eventually turned up was a bicycle tyre with some leather glued on - not recommended.

Or this?

Looks like wheelskins are based in California....the picture of the Buick wheel here https://wheelskins.com/gallery might be the sort of thing you're after.
Good luck.

Thanks, Andrew. It looks like Wheelskins will be able to do what I need.

David,

Sorry, I cannot remember whether it was Wheelskins as it was a couple of decades ago, but the one I purchased from the US for my 408, for the same reason as you require one, was perfect and fitted the description you seem to want.

At that time, there were a number of US companies that seemed to offer these in a variety of colours.

Not quite the answer to the question but I remembered I've used these people successfully in the past on other cars - can't remember the cost - probably a lot, but might be a useful contact for somebody.
