My 410 takes Mini head lamp surrounds, but uses a clip on the headlamp housing instead of a screw to hold them in place as one can't get at the bottom of the surround on the slightly more faired in...

Girling Handbrakes

I am pleased to be able to report a very significant improvement in the performance of the handbrake on my 410 as a result of my having eschewed new pads in favour of getting the existing pads...

Claude

Too many issues one after the other can seem daunting but the best approach is to follow a logical elimination path.

Releasing the pressure after the servo allows the brakes to come off, so...

You will find the article I mentioned in the Bristol Owners Club Bulletin Number 142, dated Autumn 2011 and the good news is that it actually describes a 411 heater and ventilation system, not an...

There was an excellent article a little while ago in the BOC Journal which described the rather complicated (clever) workings of a 408(?) heater. Do you have access to back issues of the same?

The...

You will have to get the bezel off the front, if my 410 is anything to go by, as the switch itself lies behind the steel work that supports the wooden dash.

The bezel undoes the normal way. I made...

The tie rod ends are relatively easily sourced once you know that they were also used on the Austin Healy 3000. But you'll need to work out whether you need LH or RH threads
