Rumors....

But I am sure that he could turn it around.. Maybe having Jay Kay and the Gallagher Brothers on the Board. That would be something!

I would be very surprised if anyone other than Toby ends up at the helm after this interruption, I wonder if there will be a new version of the existing cars out of the traps?

Having spoken to some of the ex-staff, I'd be very surprised if any would go back to work with him, given the way they were all sacked, with only 20 minutes to get their things and clear out under escort.

Maybe that was a process that had to be done and directed by the administrators. I can't think of an easy way of doing that.

I do hope the people that need a job are re-employed as soon as possible.

Folks may very well blame Toby for lots of things. One thing for sure they'll have to blame him for - bringing in lots of re-work business on older cars, like mine. That job produced a lot of paychecks.

Once the die was cast on administration, very quick decisions and actions to stop the bleeding were absolutely necessary, as I'm sure we all here understand.

Uncle Syd and Geoff Marsh, if they re-open, will be instrumental in helping to recall the talent, I'd bet. When I was last with Syd, after picking up our car, he was a very staunch supporter of Toby's. Of course, his age and longevity place him in a unique position.

if the news of Toby putting an offer together is true, then if nothing else it speaks volumes for the potential for BCL as a business venture, Toby doesn't come across as being naive to the world of profit and loss.....

The latest is that there are bids on the table for the whole of the business, and an announcement might be expected next Friday. I am sure Toby has at least one hat in the ring, having devoted a vast sum of money to the business for our mutual benefit over the years

Sounds good.
So there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel.
