Hello,



it is amazing to see that my engine has almost the same numbers as yours,
only the 'S' in your block opposed to the 'A' in mine. Maybe somebody will
enlighten us about this difference.


I didn't check the engine block numbers when I removed the engine from the
car because I didn't know there were any to check....but I found the 727
gearbox number and I was pleased to see that this number, too, match the
numbers listed on the original 'Advice of Despatch' of my car.
