Steering Column UJ for 410

Hello - I need to replace the above - original Bristol part no. 910-1-25008.
Does anyone know any other vehicles that shared the same part please?
Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
I came across this firm yesterday afternoon who may be able to help, I rang them this morning on the second number and while not certain of the type of joint fitted to the Bristols the very helpful chap said that if you can give them the dimensions , number of serrations in the joint and a photograph they may be able to supply a suitable replacement, an example he referred to was 3/4" 48 serrations. Do let us know how you get on.
Geoff.

Thanks for this - great minds think alike - it's Kiley Clinton behind the steering racks bit - who rebuilt my steering box and power steering pump a few years ago. I should have picked up the phone - literally emailed them about an hour ago!
Will let you know how I get on.
Engine's out of the car at the mo - another story - so was looking at what else could be tackled whilst the lump is out of the way. Everything in apple pie order except rubber coupling at top of steering column which has seen better days - replacement on it's way from SLJ, and the UJ which has a small amount of play in it. I still need to leave it in situ for a bit as car needs to be moved/steered for the time being.
SLJ have recon UJ's on backorder but they've been waiting a long time for them.
On a separate subject https://poly318.com/poly-318-engine-...y-information/ is an interesting site - lot's of info on many poly related subjects - what fit's what etc......if you all know about it already please don't all groan/laugh at once.
Cheers
Andrew

I think this was a Metalastic item but not sure if it was used on anything else. It seems the Jaguar MKII used something similar so may be worth investigating dimensions

Thanks David - I've already acquired one of those, on my 410 it goes at top of steering column, it's the UJ nearest the steering box I'm struggling with.
Graham at Classic Bristol has one that's been removed from a car so he's kindly going to count splines, measure etc when he has a moment and then we can see where we go.
It does look a lot like this though...https://www.sngbarratt.com/English/U...6-8870e4aabfad
Cheers
Andrew
