412 front brakes

I haven't used my car -'87 Beaufighter, for about a year. I just jacked up the front and both brakes are seized on.
I was wanting to replace the seals.
Would calipers be same as Jaguar XJ6?
Any information appreciated.

These are what you are looking for, I find Mev Spares a good firm to deal with, lot of Bristol brake parts listed, you should be able to get them from Past Parts and Powertrack Brakes as well.

Thanks for reply.
In fact, I looked on ebay after posting my message here and found MEV spares, with the seals. Seals are for cars '65 - '82, but I'm guessing nothing changed until my '87 car.
I've bought brake parts for other cars from them before.

They should not have changed unless the car has uprated calipers to be absolutely of the original specification contact Graeme Payne at CBCPC I know he will have a lot of the brake components as well but I am not sure if he keeps the seals. We recently rebuilt the brakes on a 603 and fitted stainless steel pistons , new seals and bleed nipples all purchased from Powertrack Brakes, the caliper bodies were checked over and refurbished by a local engineer and although the overall cost was not as cheap as just replacing the seals and cleaning up the pistons this was not a job I wanted to revisit on a car which will now get occasional use. If the calipers on your car look the same as the Jaguar units then these seals should be what you need but I have seen one later and one upgraded car fitted with ZEUS calipers this will be very apparent as their name is cast into the cylinder bodies.

Oliver,
Have you considered having your existing brake calipers refurbished? I have used a company called “Classicar Automotive Limited”, they are based in Chelford near Knutsford, Cheshire.
I have used them on several occasions (different cars) and I have had excellent service from them at a reasonable price.

I've got one of the calipers off. Pistons all rusty, very seized up. I've no idea how the car moved forwards, I guess the engine's powerful enough to overcome the brakes.
Caliper is same as used on Jaguar '68-'73.
