Which car is this light glass from ?
 

Is this light glass from a 400 ?
It doesn't match the 401/403/early 405 type, or the later 405 type.

I have never seen a light lens like this on a 400 .
Attached is a photo of a standard 400 roof light which are fitted to the later Bristols

It's definitely a 400 interior light. Possibly later models too?

I have never seen a light lens or photo of one, like the one JoeF is asking about on a 400.
Pls post a photo of one fitted to a 400

Maybe the prototypes or very early production 400(which I have not seen) were fitted with that lens.
Does you 400/164 have this type fitted?

Just looking through my 400 photos .
I found this one of 400/108 the 6th car made .

Here's a photo of two for comparison. The stepped one on the right is from 405 chassis 4049. The one on the left is the mystery. There is also a third type, in a separate picture, which is from a later 405 and has curved sides.

The light looks the same as what's in my 406.
