Has anyone else done an electric motor conversion?
...or would yours be unique?

I heard they installing them on other classic cars for couple of years already ,now I’m just gathering more info and next week I’ll meet mechanic who may work on my 403 and he said he’s familiar with those conversions. I’ll keep you posting

I meant would your 403 be the first one?

There is nothing new about electric cars. They have been around for over 100 years.

A TV programme about converting classic cars to electric.
...not everyone's cup of tea...

If you want a far better investment I will sell my 51 401 ex Craven & Hedrick New York, originally LHD now RHD but parts to convert back, its original gearbox and the 85C engine I removed from it over 30 years ago are included, send me a private message if interested. This is the only original LHD 401 for sale anywhere that I am currently aware of and in the new year the plan is to return it to its original layout.
