Default 403 removeable floor sections

Are people still using felt strip for sealing these panels? Or is there a better modern alternative? Whatever the answer, it would also be useful to get recommendations for where to purchase (UK).

As well as the panels at the front, designed to be removed for maintenance, what about the large section of floor under the rear seat and over the back axle? This was held in with self tappers and there was considerable corrosion between the steel chassis rails and the aluminium panel, so I would like to separate these with something. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Mike
