Default Radiator fluid

Got down to look at the 403 yesterday, after the incident coming back from the BOC BBQ, when the thermostat flew off the scale.

The radiator took about 2.5 liters of coolant. When the level came up I could see a waxy material in the coolant. Could this be Bars leak seal or the dreaded oil in the coolant?

Sitting around on idle the temperature sat at about 80 degrees, but it was much cooler yesterday and I the heater matrix was opened fully too, to reduce the possibility of air locks

Might be worth looking on the barsleak or barseal site as there is lot of information there including photographs of contaminated coolant.
What exactly has been done to the car and the cooling system, has the rad been flushed or replaced and has it had any head gasket issues in the past which could have left a residue of oil in the system, a complete cooling system flush and a pressure test would be a good idea but first make sure the thermostat is ok, some of the repro ones on the market now are total crap.
