Hello there!

Could someone here please advise on appropriate front shocks for a series 2 412?

Are they the same as the XJS etc please?

I may need to replace mine very soon.

Happy to hear it was 'born' with 220bhp, not 170!

Currently having total engine rebuild as quite a few of those horses had escaped. Hopefully we will find bigger, stronger ones to replace...

Could someone here please tell me if the spec and/or effectiveness of the brakes and rear axle changed from series 1 to series 2 on the 412?

(Power dropped notably - 330 to 170hp, I think...

My 412 has just had the boot floor completely removed and all the supporting structure restored before the the new floor section was installed.

The guys at Bristol were very nice but do not have one, new or used, at the moment.
