My clock is equally accurate albeit almost certainly at different times. I'm afraid I have put off getting it fixed as I haven't had much luck previously. I had the one on the 403 upgraded with an...

There are at least two options for the headlights. When I upgraded the 403 I went for maximum light output and was surprised to find I had to fit a driver unit which was too big to fit in the...

406 wiring
Does anyone know if a wiring diagram was published for the 406?
The 404/405 and 407/408 workshop manuals are of some help but lacking what I need. The 406 handbook doesn't seem to have a diagram.

Can you see what's stopping it?
All gauges now back in the 406 so safe to apply power for the first time. All usual precautions starting a long term stored car that is new to me.
Starter engaged nicely and the engine ran briefly...

Progress now being made. I have found some Kangol belts the same as those on my 410. Mountings on the rear wheel arch and the transmission tunnel are straightforward but the ones just inside the...

My memory is letting me down. As Dodd says the reverse switch is on the shift lever and the neutral inhibit on the gearbox. A bit of research suggests that the culprit in your case is the lever...

Seat belts 407 to 411.
Per my post in the six cylinder section, I am looking for seat belts to fit in a 406. I assume that anything from 407 to 411 would suit so checking if anyone has anything suitable - perhaps removed...
