Default 1967 Bristol 409 43K Miles RHD in US Owned since 1977

Being sold by the estate of the last owner

1967 Bristol 409 Sport Saloon
Blue with Gray Leather
5.2L Chrysler V8, 3 Speed Automatic
Right-Hand Drive, ZF Power Steering
Car Number: 409-1-379
Chassis Number: 409-7379
One of 74 Units Built
43,351 Miles
Asking $24,990 and open to offers

This car is being sold by the estate of the late owner. He purchased it from Bristol in 1977 and imported it from the United Kingdom in early 1978. For over 20 years he owned this Bristol and drove it extensively during the 80’s and 90’s, including long trips.

During the course of his ownership, the car was repainted, the chrome refinished, and the engine rebuilt. It is now aging gracefully and isn’t afraid to be used. The car was always garage-kept and is in good overall condition for a 42 year-old automobile.

Unfortunately we do not have service records from the time it was imported, however recent work includes new tires and battery, rebuilding the master cylinder, flushing the braking system and tuning the engine including spark plugs, points, rotor, plug, plug wires, distributor cap and fuel filter.

The exterior of this car, while quite presentable, does have a few needs but is probably best enjoyed as is. There are very few minor dings, paint chips and paint cracks about the body, but no significant dents. The refinished chrome is very good to excellent. The glass is excellent with the exception of minor scratches from the windshield wipers on the lower windshield.

The interior has light patina. The original leather has no tears, holes or significant wear and remains supple. The carpets are good, and the burled dash wood has some cracks. The steering wheel and gauges look quite good. The engine compartment and trunk are clean and unrestored. The wheels and hub caps are very good.

There is an owner’s manual, shop manual, recent service invoices and a UK registration document along with a clear Pennsylvania antique vehicle title in the late owner’s name. The estate administrator has the authority to transfer the title and ownership of the vehicle.

This is a very unusual opportunity to acquire one of these exclusive automobiles at a realistic price.
