Eric, Thank you for that, the terms I used are idioms not literal definitions. Perhaps that is the problem here all along. I have no problems whatever, except that I don't like seeing someone behaving vindictively.

I note that you are accusing me of 'hatred'. I think it indicates the level of hyperbole you apply to put your point over. Hatred is a very nasty term in english, perhaps you might consider withdrawing that remark and apologising for using it.

Regards

Eric, if you can afford an Arnolt, you can afford a lawyer, and I would especially recommend one before setting off on a vindictive campaign. I have tried helping you avoid these pitfalls (for free) however there seems little point

Your quote comes up on google translate as "The bourgeois are like pigs - The more things get old, it becomes more con" Clearly this makes no sense in a literal English translation, and neatly illustrates the problems that can arise from a language barrier. What you may understand in French is not what I read in English. And vice versa. If I were being charitable I would say you just don't understand what you are saying in English.

I have pointed out that you have every right to make a claim, and there is a proper forum in which to do it, which is not the internet. In fact, everyone is telling you the same thing. You are clearly a very intelligent man or else you would not be where you are, however as we Irish would say 'you have lost your head altogether'. I would get this thread deleted as well, take a few days out to reflect on things and then come back to it.

Whilst I sit here in sunny Spain it occurred to me that the man who conceived the car was Wacky Arnold.
Appropriate I think in the present context!

Careful Nick, I suggested something Wacky was going on with Eric and had my post deleted !, although Rubbond got away with calling him a nutter !

The main problem Eric seems to have, apart from a broken car, is paranoia. As far as I can see, everyone that was trying to help or sympathise with him were perceived to be attacking him. He then responds with his own brand of insults !

All a bit pointless really when you don't understand what you are saying or what is being said (fully) ?

Paul,

In answer to your earlier question - sorry, I can't remember what ABBA's first number one record was !

Was it "The winner takes it all " ?

you have only such argument to post .
Thank you for caring about my mental health

Only to reiterate what I have said before -- I really hope your car problems are sorted out once and for all very soon.

Geoff.
Short answer = Yes. And I have no complaints. They do what they are supposed to do... work and not deteriorate, although the 411 has been a hanger queen ever since I bought them.

Just to try to put an end to this thread that is getting increasingly
traumatic for someone who grew up in Scandinavia in the 70's....

Paul, the next thing is you being pursued for incorrect legal advice!
Nobody has been found liable for the sweeping snow nonsense. Second, your
analysis of the libel laws looks a bit dodgy. Incidentally, look at Trip
Advisor: this is a complicated area of law. For now
, I can`t see that Eric is at all liable for anything ... even if his
complaints are wrong. P

I bought some for my 407, he does two types, one for the early cars and the more complex one for the later cars.
They were lighter than the originals but are now two years old and look as good as new, even after this years salt.
