Default Arnolt Bristol Bolide Roadster prototype at the 1954 Turin Motor Show.

Hi All.

Can anybody identify the S/N of this Arnolt-Bristol bolide (prototype?) that was presented at the 1954 Turin Motor Show on the 20th of April 54?

I believe it's one of the 1st, if not THE 1st roadster produced.

Note the position and shape of the repeater above the front bumper, "Bertone" fender like the Ex Lee Marvin Coupé 404X3120, and 2-tone paint. I believe it is the only roadster with the Bertone fender...

Thanks heaps!

Chanh

Chanh,
The Arnolt you mentioned is chassis 3030 and probably the only roadster with the scalloped fenders/wings (they all had Bertone fenders as the bodies were all made by Bertone ).

The car is in UK partially restored.

Attached are two photos I have on file, of the car in 1968 in USA fitted with Chev V8

Geoff

Ohhh! Thanks Geoff! I thought that Arnolt-Bristol was a goner! Giovanna Scaglione (Franco's daughter) will be so happy to learn about it! Now I hope somebody will post more recent pics...

Cheers!

Doc file upload shouldn't even have been enabled due to security risks with MS Word files. It has now been disabled.

You can always just upload the images on their own. Alternatively PDF files are allowed.
