Default Archie's Birthday

Hi all -

Although I don't have any definite sources*, I believe today would be the 110th birthday of Archibald Frazer Nash. Except for his work, the Bristol would be a far different car.

Surprisingly, he does not have an entry on Wikipedia!

I'll think of him at Shelsley Walsh on Sunday. Its the World's
oldest motoring venue and a hill climb first used in 1907. There
will be lots of Frazer Nash's and GNs there.

Hi Bob

If Archie's not in Wiki, why not create an entry for him? That's how Wiki
works! He deserves it.

I believe Archie Fraser Nash has a daughter who lives on the North norfolk coast.

I started a bio for Wikipedia, but not sure how to move it to the
live/real section. It's very brief, as I'm just hoping that getting
a starter out there will encourage others to fill out the
entry. After all, a bio of such an important UK motoring
personality should not be coming from "the colonies"!

Well done Bob, anything is a start and will probably flush one of
these knowledgeable pedants out of the woodwork. These people are a
gift from heaven because they preserve the minutae that the rest of
us cannot be arsed with.
