Default BMW 328: From Roadster to Legend

This is a nice, well illustrated book about the BMW 328 (328 pages!). Although not specifically about Bristols it has several pages about AFN, the Aldingtons and the early days of Bristol. It is a translation of the German original "BMW 328: vom Roadster zum Mythos". It can be obtained through Amazon and is well worth adding to your collection.

Amazon seem to want $250 for a used copy of this book. Your link to Bentley
has it at $79. Are the two books the same?

If my post about the German publishers got through, then it works for a Mac.

Vitessebooks (of Aachen, NRW, Germany) have this
at US$ 234.06, and this seems to be the
English-language edition from Copress Sport,
München (1996) -despite the German description.
To quote "Englischer Text. Natürlich 328 Seiten
!" It has the same number of pages as on the
Bentley link, incidentally, it weighs a hefty
1.8kg! Curiously, Copress Sport Verlag only has
Simons' early BMW book (up to 1932) on its own
site.

Maybe the Bentley website is not up to date since I guess the book is now
out of print. I bought my second-hand German version (published in 1996 by
BMW Mobile Tradition) a couple of years ago for 20 Euros from Amazon,
remakable value! Today I see it at 79 Euro, still good value. 250USD
plus/minus seems to be the going rate for the English version.

For some reason the version of this message that I got had a lot of HTML markup
in the beginning. Maybe the MIME packaging went wrong?
