Default Cayman Motor Museum & Replicas

Without getting too far off Bristol topics, the Cayman museum has a "Batmobile" with an unclear origin. For the curious, look at ttp://www.1966batmobile.com/

There's a similar issue with the "Green Hornet" in the current action movie. This movie used 27 1965 Imperials and there is more than one "original" Black Beauty, created for the TV series, made from a 1966 Imperial - I saw one being built 12 years ago.

I suppose any "Bristol" not built in Filton is a "replica" and there are more than a dozen Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica "replicas" (yes, confusing!) built in England, Germany and perhaps elsewhere.

Bob (not far from George Barris' shop, Batmobile creator, and Dean Jeffries' shop, who made the original Black Beauty.

Next time I am in the Museum, I will check out the chassis number etc. The body is Glass Fiber.
The owner bought it at an Austion, I think in 2009.
