Default From Chain Gang To Turbocharger

Just spotted a copy of Chain Gang to Turbocharger , The AFN Storey on eBay (uk site) for a very reasonable £10. An interesting addition to a Bristol library as it approaches the Bristol/Frazer Nash tie up from a different perspective and of course has a lot of information on their Bristol engine cars.

Thank you Geoff,
It isn't a book I would have thought of looking for.
Regards, Peter

There's another thread about this book, that I started back in 2009 Bristol related book - FROM CHAIN DRIVE TO TURBOCHARGER.

That was also prompted by a copy for sale on eBay!

There are several copies available on eBay.co.uk if you search in the Books category for "From chain drive to turbocharger"

or for a wider search

There are a few copies on the Amazon uk site as well, the copy I saw on eBay sold quickly. Sorry but I don't know how to do the link from eBay to this site.

There is a cracking good website abebooks.co.uk where secondhand booksellers from around the world list their wares. It's very easy to search by title, author etc. But you have to pay attention to where they are situated as postage, particularly from America, can prove prohibitive. You will be stunned at just how many copies of "From Chaingang to Tubocharger" are out there.
It works well, in a similar manner to eBay feedback is key to driving performance.

When I said thank you Geoff, I meant that I had bought the book!
It arrived yesterday and is a facinating read. I didn't know that AFN had its roots in Kingston/ SW London. Just getting through to the BMW phase.

Peter,
I suspected you might have bought it as it had disappeared from the site by the time of your reply, well done and glad you are enjoying it.
Geoff.

London Road, Isleworth actually (I used to live round the corner).

It then became the London site of Porsche before going downmarket as the Marlborough car dealership that sold Chrysler and Skoda. It is now bedecked with large cranes turning it into a fast series of blocks of 'executive' flats!

But the roots were in Wandswoth and Kingston before it flowered in Isleworth, George.
Even New Malden got a mention!
