Forum posting etiquette
When posting a reply in a web based forum it is generally accepted etiquette to quote no more of the previous message than you really need to. (Some web sites ask that you quote no more than the new comments that you are posting.)
The same goes for this site. While we don't have any precise "rules" about quoting I would ask that members take care to quote only as much as is necessary to create the right context for your comments. This makes using the forums a more pleasurable experience for all, (no one wants to have to decipher a post to work out what the new comments are!).
Other unwanted artefacts such as email headers, disclaimers and address footers are deprecated.
Thanks for your co-operation.
