401/403 Wanted.
If you read The Automobile magazine you will know that the publisher is into conservation class cars or cars in 'oily rag' condition, I am looking for a 401 or 403 that meets that criteria. While I am currently working on a 401 project it will not be ready for a while and because of that I do not have the time or space to get my 403 sorted.
The type of car I am looking for must be running and driving, I do not mind some recommissioning works such as brakes tyres etc but nothing major.
The main chassis must be sound and would prefer the rest to be as well, ditto the body but minor or moderate repairs not objected to.
Interior must be original and would prefer the paint to be as well but as long as it is an older not recent respray that is acceptable.
Would prefer car on original registration and with known history.
Having said that may consider a non runner if it ticks all the other boxes, I have no objection to a car fitted with a later engine and or upgrades such as overdrive or disc brakes, I want a car to use and enjoy not to show or win cups.
If you have such a car or know of one please get in touch, will purchase outright or may be prepared to a do a deal with my 403.
Sorry but am not interested in any other model only 401 or 403.
