Mud flaps

Does anyone have the same problem as I do with continual stone chips under the rear valance area? I'm fed up with touching up the paintwork!
Now I know that the experts will say that the cars were designed on aerodynamic lines, but I wonder if mudflaps are an option? I try not to use the car on roads other than tarmac, but still the chips appear.

Fitment looks easy and there are plenty of plain designs around.
Another option is to go for the protective coating that goes on sills and is painted over, but that is hard to keep clean.

Never had that problem on 407 to 411 but added the stainless protectors to the 603 , but that has a wide axle modification. Maybe the paint shop can help with a tougher lacquer in that area.

Yes Greg,
I think the issue might be that the car has been painted with one the "softer"
paints.
